Bespoke Living Spaces

Conservatories are a timeless way to add space where you need it most, in a design that enhances your home and garden. These are one off bespoke designs inspired by how you want to use the space, whether that’s for living, dining, work, play or exercising.

Imagine what that extra room will be, who will use it and what for? Asking yourself those questions in advance of a design consultation means you can craft the perfect living space.

It’s this versatility that sets apart conservatories from other ways of extending your home. The space can reflect even the most ambitious plans for redefining the way you live in your home.

Custom designs and shapes can be sculpted to your existing home, you might add a simple lean to style, or look to expand with a wrap around, increasing dimension across both aspects of your home.

How you want to use the space will all be thought through in detail so you can choose roofing type, brickwork, electrics, heating, plastering, and floor tiling to complement the living space.

Solid Insulated Roofing Systems

All our lightweight solid roofs are constructed using market leading roofing systems which are designed to the highest standards and conform to the latest building regulations. We offer a range of tiled and insulated panel roof finishes to suit almost any shape or design and provide a light and warm environment.

We can incorporate glazed sections, and opening roof lights to ensure maximum light without compromising on insulation and thermal efficiency. The roof systems are low maintenance, robust and can cope with even the harshest of British weathering.

The solid insulated roofs can transform an existing conservatory or can be used to top off a new build structure. The finish is exceptional with plastered internal walls and ceilings and spotlights. They are the strongest, warmest and lightest system on the market.

We can provide extra living space that will transform your home and Add Value.

Sun Soaked Without Becoming A Sauna

Those of us old enough to remember the conservatory revolution of the 70’s and 80’s wince at the expense of a room that could only be comfortably used a few weeks of the year. In summer the old conservatories were swelteringly hot, and by winter you needed a good pair of long johns.

Solar technology has advanced so much in the last 40 years that a modern conservatory can be a space that can be used whatever the temperature is outside. The correct glazing, shading and ventilation needs to be carefully selected to suit the orientation of the structure and for its intended use. Solar control glazing, integral blinds, solid roof systems, opening roof vents and air conditioning can all be considered to ensure that the space is useable all year round.

‘A’ Rated Glazed Windows Are Eco-Sensible

We were the first company in Essex to install ‘A’ rated double glazed windows as standard. Just a small signal of our commitment to quality products. This means our windows carefully balance the weather outside with the optimal living conditions inside your home.

The windows, doors and conservatories are all high performance and achieve low U-Values, therefore being energy efficient, good for the environment as well as helping to cut your heating bills.

Our modern conservatories outperform older versions due to high levels of insulation in the walls, roofs and surrounds, combined with A rated windows, doors and glass to achieve a perfect environment.

The lower the U-Value the better. This is important to consider, especially in larger glazing projects, because it helps you keep heat in your conservatory. Large glazed sections required a low U-Value to ensure that heat doesn’t escape so that your new living space remains warm and comfortable in the winter months.

Solar Gain

Natural solar gain is essential during the colder months as it helps to warm your home Free of Charge!

Large glazed areas such as conservatory roofs therefore attract lots of heat and need to be designed to control this.

Solar control glass such as from the Pilkington range will help to protect your space from excessive solar gain, absorbing and reflecting heat. This is especially important to consider in South and West facing conservatories to comfortably control the temperature of the room so that they can be used during the hottest days of the year. A combined approach to low U-values and controlling solar gain means you get the perfect balance of insulation for your space.

Ventilation, cooling and shading can be incorporated to provide the most suitable environment for your new space.

Our FREE design consultation takes all of this in to consideration to make sure that any quotations are fit for purpose.

Internal Blinds

Aside from the obvious benefits that come from never needing to be cleaned or dusted, internal blinds are a smart feature that sit inside the glass of conservatory windows and doors.

Privacy. Simply tilt the blinds to ensure nobody can peer in from outside and at night time close the blinds completely to enjoy complete privacy in your own home.

Shading. The blinds control the amount of light and solar gain that you let in your home without cutting out all of the light.

Conservatory Refurbishment Essex

We can even revitalise your existing conservatory by just replacing the roof, renewing the windows and doors or even both.

By leaving the existing brickwork and footings in place (subject to survey) we are able to modernise and refurbish your old conservatory at a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire structure.

A new roof and frames manufactured to modern standards and regulations will certainly brighten the place up and eradicate any leaks or draughts, making it more usable all year round.

"Absolute pleasure using Rayleigh glass. We had Carl measure up initially, and give us some great ideas and he also was part of the fitting team. Matt was great throughout the process and ensured we felt happy with how the work and the purchase was going - he organised everything brilliantly. It's always a risk when you spend so much money on work on the house but I felt reassured that I was in safe hands. Would highly recommend using them."
