A beautiful property that we were delighted to be asked to work on at the end of last year.
We have been waiting to see the final product and now that it is rendered and decorated we just had to get some photos to show how the windows fitted in. Quite the facelift!
Our client has transformed the property with a total refurbishment throughout.
We were tasked with providing simple classically designed windows with high thermal insulation and good noise reduction performance. We worked closely with the homeowner and main contractor to ensure that the windows were supplied and installed in conjunction with the other works that were being carried out at the property.
We installed the windows to suit the schedule of works so that the decorating could follow on behind very swiftly, as our customer was living at the property while all the works were carried out.
The windows had to allow for the original shutters to be removed and refitted so were very carefully designed to accommodate this particular requirement. Also to add to the high quality finish required we fitted timber architraves and window boards internally.
The windows have dummy sashes to provide equal glass sight lines and have helped to give the property a fresh and elegant appearance. Rehau window system glazed to achieve ‘A’ rated performance.
It was great to be involved in this project and we have must admit to being slightly envious of the property, it is rather special.
