This week we transformed an old leaking conservatory into a year-round living space.
Instead of starting from scratch we refurbished the original conservatory, retaining the existing brickwork and base.
We started by removing the existing framework and roof and installed an aluminium panelled insulated conservatory roof.
We opted for this roof as it’s strongest and lightest solid roof system available on the market right now, and has even been fire tested, which gives homeowners extra peace of mind should an accident occur.
We also added new energy-efficient windows and doors, plastered the internal ceiling and added spotlights. The spotlights will illuminate the space wonderfully at night.
The new glazed section will bring in natural light and we chose to use solar controlled glass to minimize the heat build-up, which is a common occurrence in conservatories.
This type of glass ensures that the customers new living space will stay warm in the winter but cool in the summer and is very low maintenance.
We only ever install Ultion locks in our projects as it is ‘the most secure lock ever made’.
The Ultion cylinder has never been beaten in any test including; lock picking, lock snapping, lock bumping and lock drilling.

As you can see a conservatory that was hardly used has now added another dimension to this property.
This brand-new living space can be enjoyed all year round by the family and it will add value to this property.
